PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
By a massive stroke of luck, I started working at Bike and Powder Magazine at the tender age of 20 as the assistant photo editor. Tossed willingly into the deep end of the absolute best images in action sports photography. My prior education was fast and focused on capturing the energy and personalities on Chicago's dark and dank punk stages.
The fusions of these backgrounds positioned me uniquely in the publishing world. Constantly digging for a different perspective for my work and the heroes that I had the honor to commission over my eight-year tenure at the titles. I still pick up the camera when duty calls but I would way rather be weaving through traffic to snap and share a ridiculous vanity plate.
